This diptych LDF “Tongues of Fire & Groundswell” is a project that is characterized by hybridity. He uses other artistic fields such as plastic art or contemporary writing in the form of a sociological and political poem “documentary poem” by confronting two elements: fire and water.
From intimate revolt to public protest, the fire of Arab revolutions has spread, but the immense hope of giving way to chaos; country with fire and blood, then thousands of men throw themselves into the water. Christian Ubl questions our humanity by confronting the two elements, fire and water. Two echoing solos, two poems-documentaries carried by the words of Lucie Depauw which give to see the body, its fragility and its determination to the confrontation, to the survival. A political act by his physical commitment.
