UNE RANDONNÉE ARTISTIQUE
AU CŒUR DU COL DU COQ
Christian Ubl and collaborating artists are invited by the Department of Isère and France to develop an eco-artistic act in the sensitive natural space of the Col du coq area, in order to “reverse” our gaze and sensations in outdoors. An artistic and participatory hike where you will be invited to make tools to touch the invisible in the visible in the middle of this rich landscape. A situation where the man becomes a witness, guardian and initiator.
WAOUHHHHH! artists and the public in action, together seek to summon a simple bodily dialogue to accentuate the relationship between man and nature, also questioning the values of our traditions or our misplaced rituals. Dance or body art is an art that adapts to many circumstances, able to inspire and summon a thought or emotions.
WAOUHHHHH! could be an extraordinary comfort zone, activity zone and discovery zone — a symbol of well-being and freedom of expression.
WAOUHHHHH! invites us to share an artistic time in the heart of a reserve to ask ourselves the question of our values, to put the posture of man in friction with the landscape. The artistic act thus becomes a symbol, a moment of sharing, a need to exist and live together.
This project is carried out in partnership with the Department of Isère, the landscape architects of the Council for Architecture, Urban Planning and the Environment of Isère (CAUE).
With WAOUHHHHH! artists and visitors in action, together seek to summon a simple bodily dialogue to accentuate the relationship between man and nature, also questioning the values of our lost traditions or rituals. Dance or body art is an art that adapts to many circumstances, able to inspire and summon a thought or emotions.
WAOUHHHHH! could be a Comfort Zone, an Activity Zone and an extraordinary Discovery Zone – a symbol of well-being and freedom of expression.
WAOUHHHHH! could be a “natural scenic” reserve that has lost alpine traditions and invites us to invite new rites and contemporary behaviors.
The project will place the public, passers-by, visitors and artists in a concrete context, exposing them in turn as actors of the body and living landscape, twisted between the modernity of their presence and the history of the place.
WAOUHHHHH! invites us to share an artistic time in the heart of a reserve to ask ourselves together the question of our values, to put in friction the posture of man and the posture of the landscape. The artistic act thus becomes rather a symbol, an ephemeral moment, a moment of sharing, a need to exist and live together: an immeasurable and rare nourishment.
